Meet The Team

Rebekah is the head honcho. She has always had an eye for piercing and things that are different. Opening her studio EmbellishMe in 2019 with a strict vision for a welcoming, clean atmosphere with plenty of plants and class! 

She has been piercing professionally since 2010, continuing her education through multiple outlets including attending 2 conferences in Vegas for the Association of Professional Piercings, and guest piercing and shadowing at other APP approved studios. 

FUN FACTS: 

First Piercing: Navel piercing at 15 

Favorite Jewelry: Yellow Gold and Alexandrites

Hobbies: Gardening and being a cat mom. Waterfall jumping, camping and hiking with her husband. Crystal collecting and practicing origami.

What you love about piercings: The possibilities to customize and express yourself is endless!

Faith started piercing in 2016 at a local studio. She wanted to further her knowledge in the piercing industry so she can continue to bring safe piercings to our community. 

FUN FACTS:
First Piercing: Cartliage at 19

Favorite Jewelry: Rose gold, emeralds, sapphires and classic diamonds

Hobbies: Faith loves doing hair on her days off, spending quality time with family and friends, and attending concerts

What you love about piercings: Faith loves piercing people to help give them the confidence they need to express themselves through quality jewelry.  

Taylor began her career in the piercing industry by working the counter at another shop in June 2020. Taylor officially began her apprenticeship in December 2020, and moved to EmbellishMe to further her education of the APP.

First Piercing: Nostril at 14

Favorite Jewelry: White gold, emerald, peridot, anything green!

Hobbies: Taylor has a love of fashion, makeup, and jewelry. She also loves art, and spends her free time painting or outside with her family. 

What you love about piercings: Taylor loves piercing people because it helps them to add a little sparkle to their day and boost their self confidence.

Courtney is a bundle of joy, smiles, and kindness. She has been in the industry for 3 years piercing here in the upstate and has continued her education here at EmbellishMe to better serve you!

First Piercing: Lip piercing at 13

Favorite Jewelry: Yellow Gold or anything with Opals and Labradorite!

Hobbies: Courtney enjoys searching for sharks teeth at the beach, singing karaoke, binge-watching TV shows, and spending time with her kids

What you love about piercings: Courtney loves being able to provide an enjoyable experience for clients while getting pierced. Her favorite part is seeing the joy in someone's face when they see the end result in the mirror.  

Jonathan is our newest addition to the EmbellishMe piercers!  He has attended and volunteered at multiple APP conferences over the years and loves to learn anything piercing related. Jonathan has been piercing for 5 years and can't wait to learn more!

First Piercing: Ear Lobes!!

Favorite Jewelry: Anything Opal, especially Black Opal!

Hobbies: Enjoys reading/writing poetry, anime, manga, cooking, and video games

What you love about piercings: Helping clients find the perfect piercing and jewelry to express their true selves! 

​Lori is our new social media and jewelry specialist. This is her first job within the industry and she couldn't be more excited to be a part of such a welcoming and inspiring community!

First Piercing: Helix and navel at 16!

Favorite Jewelry: Anything white gold and celestial

Hobbies: Reading, sipping coffee, going to concerts, traveling, exploring and re-watching New Girl. 

What you love about piercings: Lori loves the individuality it gives everyone and the confidence boost you get from a fresh new piercing. 

Bri is a ray of sunshine ready to help you every step of the way from the moment you walk in the door! She has been a long time client of ours, so she knows the ropes. With a keen eye for style and glamor, if you have any questions on what might look good, just ask her! ​

Favorite Jewelry: Yellow Gold , Opals and Colorful Gemstones!!!

Hobbies: Bri loves to find balance between comfort and chaos. So whether she’s doing puzzles and songwriting, camping, going to a festival or exploring a new city she makes the most of it. 

What you love about piercings: The process of caring for myself and my new piercings has echoed into my everyday life. With every little sparkle, I have grown a deeper connection and practice of self-care and self-love. I sparkle brighter than I did before.

Michael is our newest (but not) team member! He is not just the owners husband, he is the studios handyman, jokester, and every ones friend. If you are feeling nervous, don't worry, he will be right there to make you laugh, smile, and help you pick out that perfect piece of jewelry and anything else you may need to make your experience fun!​

First Piercing: Septum at 22 

Favorite Jewelry: Yellow Gold , Rutilated Quartz, Moss agate, or anything dark and brooding

Hobbies: On my free time I love to DJ, make people laugh, and most of all spending time with my wife and our 6 furbabies! 

What you love about piercings: I love coming up with bold ideas and helping bring the clients vision come to life. Sharing in the experience and watching clients confidence and smiles after everything is said and done is really rewarding and I am proud to be a part of it.

Medusa is EmbellishMe's studio snake and model employee. Being under Rebekah's care under the past 10 years, Medusa has born witness to pretty much every piercing there is. Unfortunately, she can not speak English, so there's no way of knowing whether she has learned anything from it. 

FUN FACTS:
First Piercing: No piercings, but hopes to get her tongue done one day (but she knows this can't actually happen).

Favorite Jewelry: Yellow Gold, Zawadi Sapphires and Moss agate

Hobbies: Slithering, pondering, eating

What you love about piercings: Medusa loves watching clients exit the studio feeling more confident with a new sparkle in their lives.
